What is G-Cloud?
G-Cloud 13 is a UK government procurement framework that helps UK public sector organisations commission certain services without going through a separate procurement process. Procurement through a framework like this can be faster and more efficient.
How it works
In Summer 2022, Crown Commercial Service launched a new digital service called Public Procurement Gateway (PPG).
UK public sector organisations will need to register for the PPG (opens in a new tab).
The service offerings of framework suppliers are published for UK public sector organisations through a website on gov.uk called the Digital Marketplace (opens in a new tab).
All UK public sector organisations, including agencies and arm’s-length bodies, can legitimately procure services through the Digital Marketplace. If you already have funding available, procurement through Digital Marketplace does not require a tender.
